Thanks for the link! I had not seen that yet.

I thought it was pretty interesting - especially for the Atlantic. (They ran a piece on the Dead's "business model" a while back, so someone on the staff must be keen on the Dead.)
Granted, the author is not a fan & doesn't have much actual insight, but I liked the read anyway; there were some telling comments.

And I find it hilarious that someone would try to get into the Dead by watching a video collection that (ahem) skips all the Dead's best years and focuses on '87-91. No wonder he burned out quickly!

Well, to be fair, if you want video there isn't much else out there.

Had anyone seen a track listing for the bonus disc? What are the "five previously unreleased live performances from the Grateful Dead archive"?
